"Highly recommended as a quick, quality stop when travelling Auckland-Tauranga route. Perfect for coffee + a bite without the motorway chaos. If you're passing by, pop in — you won't be disappointed. 5/5 stars from me — solid, unpretentious, and does exactly what a good roadside café should. Excellent customer service!"

"Had a lovely lunch here with my mum. We ordered a mince and cheese pie and steak, bacon and cheese pie and a bowl of chips. To drink we had the mocha frappe and cookies and cream frappe. Everything was delicious. Food was hot. The pies were full of meat unlike some other places that have more gravy than meat. The cafe has definitely improved with new owners."

"We stop here often and our recent visit was as good as ever. Great coffee, cabinet food and menu items. Savoury scone is recommended as is the strudel. We enjoy sitting outside when the weather allows. It’s often busy but the food delivery was timely. Thanks to all the folk at our favourite local."

"Went for lunch here, and ordered a toasted sandwich, sat down and as soon as I ordered a toasted sandwich was hot and ready for me. Talk about excellent service! The Cafe was slightly busy, but that didn't slow the work down at all, the young boy who was serving us was lovely. The tables outside with the umbrellas are a great new addition to this cafe, Kudos to the owner . Overall lovely place would rate high on my list of cafes that I have been to."

"The big breafast was epic, the chip fingers were a highlight. The rhubarb, ginger muffin was delecious. The couscous salad was a little over-priced for the size, but tasty. The food took a while to come out but the place was over half full - lunch rush. Bonus is dogs are welcome outside, and there is a simple fort in the lovely garden that kept lots of kids occupied. We would return."

"We had the Roast Beef Toasties, Chocolate Brownie Cream Cheese slice and the Carrot Cake. It was absolutely delicious. I cannot pick my favorite. Great coffee & Friendly faces. Thank you!"
